Peter and Allison - Palmwoods

Peter and Alison have the tastiest organic Strawberries on the Sunshine Coast, just ask anyone who knows them.

Many years ago this loving couple fell in love with the beauty of their 15 Acre block at Palmwoods and decided to grow Strawberries. After a few years of growing conventional Strawberries Peter was concerned with all the chemical inputs that were needed to get a good yield and quickly transitioned into becoming a Certified Organic farm and ridding their environment of harmful chemicals in 2013. What Peter found then was very unexpected when he would be praised by mothers coming through his stall saying "When my daughters would eat Strawberries they would break out in a rash and skin irritations but NOT with your organic Strawberries, your Strawberries are the only ones they can eat”.

Peter has now come accustom to this type of praise and so he should be praised in taking the path less trodden and turning from what he knew was profitable into the unknown commerce of organic agriculture.
