Meet Phil - Butcher turned clockmaker turned avocado farmer. 

After 24 years of clockmaking, Phil’s heart took him in another direction...back to the land. Seeing the potential of a long neglected avocado orchard, and the run down cottage on the property, Phil and his wife Fran began a new life as farmers.

An introduction to Dean who tells us how he turned around an overgrown Blueberry farm by focusing on the soil and increasing organic matter to the point that he doesn't have to irrigate, even in the heat of Summer.

Felix decides what ingredients are used, based on whether he’s happy to ingest them and put them on his children’s skin. For instance, the products contain no SLS, LAS, alcohol ethoxylate, phosphate and only a fraction of the sodium (‘salt’) level of other brands.

Mr Huggins and his wife Lorena said their six children were taught valuable life skills through working the land with their parents, such as an appreciation for food and a strong work ethic, but the patriarch also admitted the kids weren't the only students.

Sharon is tucked away in Palmwoods on acreage with her rescue horses, sprouting sprouts and growing edible flowers. Her love for growing organically in her rich soil has now led her to also growing all kinds of amazing herbs and greens.
